PRESENTE (TODAY)
Slowly my eyes opened. I could see the hospital ceiling above me. Next to me was a nurse who was checking my pulse. Neil and Shagun were seated. Neil’s expression upon seeing my eyes open was like he had got his heartbeat back. Shagun still was crying. I could hardly speak as my head was paining like hell, not to mention that the pain of broken bones was too much. Varun was missing. The doctor came and asked Neil and Shagun to leave the room. The nurse gave me sedatives which made my tired eyes close again and I drifted off to sleep. I didn’t want to sleep but the effect of sedatives was too much. After I awoke, I just lay there thinking abt all dat had happened which had contributed to make me to jump from the 3rd floor of my hostel bldng in the beautiful campus of Infosys…
Six months back…………..
